The girls over at Wine to Weights, Dare-2-Dream Dare-2-Do, and Alex Tries Out are running a challenge and I'm taking them up on it.  Will you join me?

The goal is to increase the number of "military pushups" you can do, working your way to 100!  The idea, to strengthen your upper body and toss "girly push-ups" out the door.

Starting February 4 through March 11, you'll have an opportunity to participate with weekly check-in's to keep you on track and win cool prizes.


What's your goal?  

Today, I can handle 3 sets of 10 (the real ones) and that last set is questionable.  So I have to triple the amount of push-ups in just 5 weeks.  Is that possible? It's going to be tough but I'll try.  Here's my plan, are you with me?

Week 1:  3 sets of 12 = 36
Week 2:  3 sets of 15= 45
Week 3:  4 sets of  15= 60
Week 4:  4 sets of 20= 80
Week 5:  5 sets of 20= 100

Thanks so much! When I looked at it, I wasn't sure it was attainable, but just in the past week, I've been able to do so many more pushups. I think I can! :-)

Really excited to see how far I can get. I've already built up the # of "real" push-ups I can do, in such a short amount of time. I was truly surprised! Thanks for the motivation!
